The line provides public transport to the administrative and economic centre of the Ústí Region. The building is situated on the body of the existing railway line Louny – Lovosice. The building is located mainly on existing railway plots. There is no change in the construction of the tracks in the area. Modifications will increase safety on the line, increase the maximum possible speed of trains and reduce operating costs. There will also be an increase in line passage. The outlook state of traffic assumes the introduction of two additional pairs of express trains.
