The approach of short distances developed in the Land of Lower Saxony (no migrant travels further than 30 km to the competent recognition advisory centre) is to be expanded and optimised by additional consulting locations in Celle, Braunschweig and Verden. The then 13 recognition and qualification advisory bodies ensure a competent and local advisory service. Local networking (process chain) guarantees contacts with the recognised bodies and SGB II and III institutions. In addition to the operational partners, the strategic partners are of particular importance in Lower Saxony. The IQ Advisory Board with its members (State Chancellery, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Regional Directorate of the BA, Refugee Council, Entrepreneurs’ Associations and the Research Institute) acts as an accompanying body. This advisory board meets at least 2 times a year and has developed into an optimal IQ voice in the direction of regional policy. Without these operational partners, it would not have been possible to obtain regional support for our consulting work. In the last funding period, we organised the exchange of information through regular network meetings of our sub-projects, transferred good examples and jointly developed a nationwide advisory mission statement. We will expand these network meetings (every 2 months) and also use them for quality assurance issues. A further regular exchange will take place via the learning platform VIONA (Learning in Blended Learning — TP 23 and 24). Our overarching goal is to ensure a regional, high-quality consulting service. We will therefore attach particular importance to the area of employee training and the regular exchange of experience. In addition, we will appoint permanent contact persons for the close cooperation with the specialist offices, all the more so to ensure continuous cooperation
