Slovak Republic, transport node Bratislava study of realisability

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of a service:  prepare and deliver a feasibility study entitled “ŽSR, Bratislava Transport Hub – Feasibility Study” (hereinafter referred to as the “ŠR”). The project aims to modernise the railway infrastructure in order to address the concept of traffic flows and to ensure the operation of passenger, freight and international transport as well as regional/local transport in a transport hub. The project means the modernisation of the railway node: railway section Bratislava – state border Slovak Republic/Hungary (hereinafter referred to as “SR/MR”, “ŽSR/GYSEV”)Railway section Bratislava – state border Slovak Republic/Austria (hereinafter referred to as “SR/RR”, “ŽSR/◄BB”) corridor IV.Railway section (Devínska Nová Ves – Bratislava main station – Bratislava-Vajnory/Bratislava-Petržalka – Rusovce – state border Rajka “ŽSR/GYSEV”, Bratislava-Petržalka – state border Kittsee “ŽSR/◄BB”corridor Va.Zelezničná section Bratislava main station – Bratislava-Račaž railway section Bratislava-Nové Mesto – Podunajské Biskupicež Railway section Bratislava suburb – Bratislava branch rail sections of the interconnection of corridors (connections)rail section Devínska Nová Ves – state border SR/RRŽST Bratislava East and adjacent railway section Bratislava ÚNS – Bratislava-Pálenisko, at the same time, the combined transport sections of the AGTC are connected to the railway infrastructure and the international freight corridor RFC 7, merging with Corridor E (Dresden – Prague – Bratislava/Vienna – Budapest – Bucharest – Konstanca/Athens) and RFC 5. Based on the conclusions of the SR, the project should propose a set of specific measures, validated by data collection and analysis, and identify a list of projects/interventions that could be assessed and further developed and implemented in the short, medium and/or long term perspectives.
