School infrastructure is of particular importance for attracting highly knowledgeable activities, which provide the right conditions for the training and qualification of the population. Pressure on reducing public spending, as well as high taxation, has consistently sacrificed and sacrificed the stimulation of social programmes. In particular, the funding of education has been affected, with the inevitable consequence of the deterioration of human capital and the reduction of economic development potential in the medium to long term. The main problem of education is infrastructure. The lack of operation due to the age of buildings is an important issue of educational infrastructure. On the other hand, changes in birth rates combined with legislative changes in education (establishment of the preparatory class) have led to an increase in pressure on compulsory education infrastructure. Starting from the above, the project “Improving the educational infrastructure by expanding, rehabilitating, modernising and equipping the Mihai Viteazul Secondary School in Târgovişte, Dâmbovița County” has as general objective the realisation of an investment in education and training, for the acquisition of skills and lifelong learning through the development of the education and training infrastructure, namely the extension, rehabilitation, modernisation and equipping of the secondary school “Mihai Viteazul”. The achievement of this objective will directly lead to the creation of the necessary conditions to ensure increased participation in early childhood and compulsory education, in particular for children at increased risk of early leaving.
