Ensuring an efficient public passenger transport service and improving the conditions for the use of non-motorised modes of transport, with a view to reducing the number of journeys by private transport (cars) and reducing CO2-equivalent emissions from transport. Thus, Targoviste UAT aims to develop urban mobility at Targoviste level by changing the focus from a mobility based on the use of high quality and efficient public transport, reducing the use of cars in parallel with the use of clean car categories. The project meets the specific objective 4.1 of investment priority 4e, by implementing strategic measures based on data from the Sustainable Urban Moiblity Plan of Mun. Targoviste that will lead to the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and the reduction of CO2 emissions, as a result of improving the efficiency of public passenger transport, its frequency and journey times, its accessibility, its transfer from private transport by car, increasing the attractiveness of using public transport to the detriment of transport by private cars through the proposed interventions, namely the introduction into the fleet of 28 hybrid buses, construction of modern end-stations, boarding and disembarkation stations equipped with all the facilities of ensuring the comfort of users of environmentally friendly means of transport, modernisation of the road infrastructure used both as priority by hybrid buses and dedicated exclusively to this means of public transport. At the same time, by constructing the bus base of the transport operator and equipping it with all the necessary facilities for the optimal securing and maintenance of the means of transport, a unitary and efficient infrastructure of the use of the means of public transport will be ensured.
