The project is a response to the growing need to increase access and quality of care services for communes residents in WOF ZIT. The project will design and build a support system for care services based on IT and ICT solutions, and then implemented among people using care services in the place of residence. The main activity in the project is the creation of a 24/7 support centre providing teleservice and telecare services. On the basis of the data collected by the Centre, a decision will be taken on the type of aid to be granted. Smart devices used, e.g. tablet, “dressing” technologies, should monitor basic life parameters, and additional functionalities such as gas sensor, smoke will inform about the potential risk of life and health. The use of ICT tools will allow for effective monitoring of social assistance services in municipalities participating in the project and thus to standardise and improve the quality of services provided by using tools to optimise their work and test the level of services provided. In addition, care services will be equipped with portable sets of devices to monitor the basic life parameters of the patients. A digital platform linked to the support centre will also be part of the system. The platform is designed to help users connect with circles of people who trust themselves, as well as with a network of caregivers and other professionals. In addition, the project will improve the data management system collected in social assistance homes, which will increase the efficiency of the services offered to residents, as well as devices monitoring the life functions of DPS residents.
