Connection of the cities of Lower Silesia in the section of Bolesławiec – Lwówek Śląski by voivodeship road No. 297

The planned project is located in Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, Bolesławieckie and Lwów County, Bolesławiec and Lwówek Sl communes. The subject of the investment is the reconstruction of the Voivodeship Road No. 297 on the Bolesławiec – Lwówek Śl section. [km from 74 + 300 to 90 + 300]. The southern section of the provincial road begins at the end of the construction of the south-east bypass of Boleslawec and ends in Lwówk Śl. Reconstruction of the road with elements of expansion is intended to improve the safety and comfort of travellers. The sections planned for reconstruction are km: 1. 74 + 300-77+ 465, [3164 m Bolesławiec], 2. 77 + 660-78+ 400, [740 m Nowe Jaroszowice], 3. 78 + 500-80+ 140, [1640 m Suszki], 4. 80 + 365-83+ 700, [3335 m Suszki], 5. 85 + 300-87+ 520, [2220 m Żerkowice], 6. 88 + 275-89+ 730, [1455 m Bruno’s], total 12.55 km. The abovementioned reconstruction along with the improvement of the technical condition of the remaining sections of the road will be implemented in the “design and build” formula in the existing road lane. The investor does not intend to occupy a new area in connection with the planned reconstruction. The scope of the work includes, among others: reconstruction of road sections of DW No 297 [lane width 3 m and load capacity 100Kn/axle], reinforcement of the surface to the traffic category KR4, reconstruction of junctions with public roads, construction of bus bays, protection of embankments, reconstruction of existing pavements and construction of new pavements. In addition, it is planned to clean up existing rainwater drainage, ensure road dehydration and use of BRD devices. On other sections of the road i.e. km: 1. 77 + 465-77 + 660, 2. 78 + 400-78 + 500, 3. 80 + 140-80 + 365, 4. 83 + 700-85 + 300, 5. 87 + 520-88 + 275, 6. 89 + 730-90+ 300, as part of the improvement of the technical condition [ineligible expenditure], the milling of the existing abrasive layer and reinforcement of the structure in the areas of cracks and scratches will be performed to harmonise the entire task.
