Regional Prosumer Energy Programme – photovoltaic micro-installations in single-family buildings in selected communes of Lower Silesia

This project is a grant project aimed at awarding grants for projects relating to the production of electricity (including the connection of these sources to the electricity grid) consisting of the construction/assembly of photovoltaic micro-installations in single-family buildings, in order to meet their own needs. The project will be implemented in selected communes of Lower Silesia, i.e. Żórawina, Kobierzyce, Siechnice, Kąty Wrocławskie, Pieszyce, Miejska Dzierżoniów, Dzierżoniów, Kłodzko, Miejska Bolesławiec, Lubin, Milicz, Krośnice, Twardogóra, Żmigród. The project plans to build/install a total of 602 units of photovoltaic micro-installations with a total renewable electricity generation capacity of 3.01 MWe. Thanks to this, the main objective of the project will be achieved, which is to increase the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance of Lower Silesia. It is assumed that these micro-installations will be able to produce electricity of 2 709.00 MWhe/year. In addition, the project will tackle climate change. The demand for electricity supplied from the grid, which is mainly used in Poland, will be reduced. This will result in an annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions of 2 229.51 tonnes (Mg) of CO2/year. The project is implemented in a partnership of 15 entities which belong to two sectors: public and non-profit. Its leader is the Territorial Division of the Association of Free Entrepreneurship, with its seat in Świdnica, while its partners. The communes. At the same time, the leader acts as the Grantor, who is responsible for the implementation and management of the grant project, but also for its monitoring during the sustainability period. Therefore, the project also foresees costs related to running a grant project. The final recipients of the project are the residents of the above mentioned project
