The state of health of the public is one of the priority indicators on the basis of which the organisation of healthcare, including the number and scope of health services, as well as the number and distribution of healthcare providers should be planned. In addition to the targeted/specialised activities related to the individual-specific health care provision, parallel implementation of health policy programmes is also necessary to minimise the number of diseases in the future. The aim of the project is to increase public awareness of head and neck cancers during the period of the programme, with increasing knowledge of head and neck cancer among health professionals included in the programme (with particular emphasis on primary care practitioners – GP) will translate directly into improving the detection of head and neck cancers during and within the programme,
