The aim of the project is to increase the effective application of transport accessibility standards by preparing the personnel of the collective transport sector for their application. The project covers transport carriers: railway, urban and interurban services in large and medium-sized cities. The target group of the project is the employees of such carriers.In order to achieve the objective of the project, the following will be developed:- standards for the service of persons with special needs, including persons with disabilities.- post procedures for 4 types of posts: ticket cashiers, station staff, cabin crew, ticket controllers, model programmes and training materials to train 5 000 employees of the collective transport sector, including managers and human resources development cells, who will thus be prepared for internal training on standards of service for persons with special needs, including persons with disabilities,- a guide on adapting collective transport services to the needs of people with special needs, including 10 people with disabilities. The project is implemented in partnership with PFRON, the Office of Railway Transport and the Institute of Automobile Transport in the years 2019-2023.
