The tasks planned for the project will complement the activities already undertaken by the IMF. The results of subsequent rounds of the SHARE study will, on the one hand, provide very detailed information describing the changes in the socio-economic situation of people aged 50+, identifying the reasons for these changes, and identifying the decisions taken by this group of people to stay longer in the labour market or to withdraw from the labour market earlier. This information is necessary to identify the most effective ways to support the employment of people aged 50+, taking into account their health and family constraints, as well as attitudes towards work. At the same time, the continuation of the study will allow an ex-post evaluation of the effects of the changes made using rigorous quantitative methods. As a result, it will be possible after each round of research, to develop detailed sets of recommendations concerning the desired actions supporting the professional activity of this group of people, which will then be discussed, among others, within the framework of the work of councils and forums, which deal with, among others, the professional activation of people aged 50+ and their implementation. The project provides for the development of a system for monitoring the situation of people aged 50+ (task 4), which will provide comprehensive information, among others, on factors determining the occupational activity of people aged 50+, the consequences and causes of early withdrawal from the labour market. The system, where possible, will take into account information broken down by voivodships or powiats. The monitoring system developed will be a product created within the framework of the activities carried out in the project and will be published (e.g. on the website).
