Activation of young people who are unemployed in the Kraków district – LUBIIA TO (III)

The aim of the project is to increase the employment opportunities of unemployed people up to the age of 30, from the area of Krakow County. The project is aimed at 1060 unemployed people (including approx. 40 % of women) residents of Kraków County aged 18-29, registered in the UPPK (members of the I and II profiles of the aid, who do not participate in education and training (the so-called NEET youth), as defined by NEET category in the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020. Recruitment will be carried out continuously in all UPPK units by means of applications, applications and questionnaires submitted by unemployed persons until the planned number of participants is reached. The project assumes that the recruitment process of participants will be completed by 30.07.2018. The project is a response to the challenges of the Europe 2020 Strategy and supports and promotes the employment or self-employment of young inhabitants of the Kraków County through planned project activities. The actions set out in the project are aimed primarily at shaping the skills (professional and interpersonal) of participants – which consist of the qualifications of young people and the acquisition of professional experience. These activities will enable them to acquire skills or capacity to perform tasks at the workplace, facilitate young people’s entry into the labour market by means of planned forms in the project. In addition, the potential of young people to develop entrepreneurship on the local market and in the region will be exploited. Nevertheless, actions in the project can improve the situation of young people on the labour market by facilitating the acquisition of work experience in the workplace through traineeships and by starting a business. On the other hand, training will be aimed at filling the competence gap regarding professional skills.
