The Project consists of: — infrastructure works including rehabilitation of railway line 31 on the section from km 55.200 (provincial border) to 120.889 km (Hajnówka station) with a length of 65.689 km, – station works including reconstruction of the railway station in Siemiatycze and Czeremsze. The entire section has the status of a state-of-the-art line of importance. From km 55.200 to km 90.944, the section is two-track, while the section from 90.944 to km 120.889 is single track. In the field of infrastructure works, the project assumes the rehabilitation of line No. 31, i.e. restoring the original technical parameters of the line together with the adaptation of the infrastructure elements to the needs of people with reduced mobility. The following construction works will be carried out as part of the Project: — comprehensive modernisation of power systems and equipment up to 1 kV, which will allow for the construction of modern devices and control systems on the rehabilitated line, – demolition of old and re-construction of 16 new platforms, and liquidation of 2 platforms, – works on railway crossings related, among others, to the construction of the srk cat system. B or C, construction of a new pass surface, levelling, logging, marking addition, installation of mazes, addition of marking appropriate to the category of passage, – installation of a semi-automatic line locking two-way line, installation of warning discs including wiring, installation of the signalling system for the non-business of the route, installation of trackside markers, – reconstruction of the track pavement, replacement of switching and switching of switches, installation of new equipment In the area of station works, the project assumes the reconstruction of the station in Siemiatycze and in Czeremsze, together with the construction of parking lots of Park &Ride.
