Construction of the DW 669 in Bialystok on the section from the intersection of al. John Paul II from St. National Armed Forces (DW 676/DW 669) to ul. Ciołkowski (DW 678)

The subject of the project is the construction of the Independence Route located in the western and south-western parts of Białystok. It is the last element of the city bypass leading both to the mid-city bypass surrounding the city centre as well as roads leading to Warsaw, Lublin and Bobrownik. The implementation of the project will allow to close the ring from the west side of the city through the construction of streets: National Armed Forces, Al. Independence and Al. I.J. Paderewski. The route was divided into three episodes: Section I – construction of Al. I.J. Paderewskiego on the section from ul. Viaduct to connect to Al. Independence with links and service roads and technical infrastructure, Section II – construction of Al. Independence from the merger with Al. I.J. Paderewskiego to connect to St. National Armed Forces, together with access roads and technical infrastructure, The scope of the project is divided into two tasks: Task 1 – construction Al. Part II Task 2 – construction of Al. I.J. Paderewski, covers section I. With regard to the above mentioned scope of the Project, the following products are expected to be created: length of built voivodeship roads – 5.90 km. The main users of the reconstructed road will be: — residents of Białystok, – residents of neighbouring villages commuting to work, for commercial purposes or using health care or public administration offices in Białystok, – users of roads including transit traffic in transit through the city, – potential and present investors and their contractors – tourists visiting the region.
