The main part of the project is the construction of the A1 motorway in the section Pyrzowice – the end of the Częstochowa ring road, located in the TEN-T core network, the Baltic-Adriatic corridor, with a total length of 57.70 km. This includes the inclusion of the A1 motorway into the existing section of national road No 1, which has parameters of the motorway for 0.88 km (the total length of integration is 1.03 km, of which 0.15 km does not have motorway parameters). Since the project is implemented in part in the Design and Building formula, and at present the final design solutions and the permanent traffic organisation project are not yet known, the above-mentioned length of the road to be built must be estimated and can be corrected. The beginning of the investment took place in km 417 + 530,00 (preceded by the incorporation section of DK 1 from km 416 + 500 to km 417+ 530; the section from km 416 + 650 to km 417 + 530 has parameters of the motorway) in front of the Rząsaw junction. The end of the investment was designed in km 474 + 350.00 before the “Pyrzowice” junction in Ożarowice commune. The project at the stage of the preparation of the investment and implementation (contract sections) has been divided into four tasks: • section F w. “Rząsawa” (with a node) – w. “Blachownia” (with node) – implemented in the system Za Projektuj i Buduj, • section G w. “Blachownia” (without a node) – w. “Zawodzie” (without a node) – implemented in the system. As part of the task covering section F, a section of 1.03 km was included in the existing DK 1, which is nominally in section E.
