Modernisation of waste water treatment plants and extension and modernisation of sewage systems in the municipality of Łask

The main objective of the project is to increase the number of people benefiting from an improved municipal waste water treatment system, ensuring increased biogen removal in the Łask agglomeration. The scope of the project includes the extension and modernisation of the sewage treatment plant in Łask and the construction and modernisation of sanitary sewage system. As part of the task for sewage treatment plants, works are planned on mechanical, biological and chemical block, sediment management and sediment processing. This will result in: — improving the quality of waste water purified from non-compliant Directive 91/271/EEC and the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 18.11.2014 on quality meeting the abovementioned requirements – increase in capacity from 6000 m³/d to 8000 m³/d, – improvement of sedimentary economy, – use of RES (biogas recovery, solar dryer). As part of the sanitary plumbing tasks, 11.66 km and repaired 7.11 km of canals will be built to connect 939 new users and eliminate the risks associated with the operation of used pipe sections. The agglomeration rate will increase from 94.94 % to 98.97 %. Output indicators: Number of urban waste water treatment plants reconstructed – 1 units; Length of built sanitary sewage system – 11.66 km; Length of refurbished sanitary sewage system – 7.11 km; Number of sewage effluents supported by sewage treatment/management of sewage sludge – 1 pieces; Number of biogas plants from sewage sludge – 1 units; Length of sanitary sewage system in Łódź voivodship – 18.77 km; Direct result indicators: Number of additional persons benefiting from improved waste water treatment – 939 RLM; Number of new users of the sewer network who joined the network as a result of the project – 939 RLM; The amount of dry matter of municipal sewage sludge undergoing processing – 0.80 thousand. Mg/year; Volume of waste water cargo undergoing improved treatment – 23 047 RLM
