Improving flood safety for the City of Gliwice through modernisation and expansion of the rainwater management system

The aim of the project is to address the problems of rain and rainwater management in the Gliwice City area by improving the flow, in the rain drainage network, improving the drainage of rainwater, preventing floodwaters and creating opportunities for precipitation and melt water retention.The project includes the following tasks: 1. Construction of a rainwater drainage system, storage tank with rainwater pumping station, press pipeline, and electrical installations, culvert under the road (ul. Bojkowska), an access road to the reservoir and a shore outlet to an open ditch in the area of ul. Bojkowska, 2. Reconstruction of rainwater drainage in the area of ul. Court, 3. Construction of cleaning equipment on the Kłodnica River, 4. Dehydration of areas located between the A4 motorway, ul. Rybnicka, the stream of Doa and ul. Runner in Gliwice, 5. Reconstruction of rainwater drainage in the area of Pszczyńska Street and culvert under ul. It’s a boycott, 6. Reconstruction of the rainwater drainage system in ul. Lukasiewicza, 7. Reconstruction of the ditch and rainwater drainage in the area of ul. Bojkowska and St. Toruńska with the construction of a reservoir. 8. Design and modernisation of the RW drainage ditch with the reconstruction of the rain manifold – ul. It’s Elsner’s.
