The project covers the implementation of two investment activities: — Execution of reconstruction/decommissioning of 15 hydrotechnical bulkheads to restore ecological continuity of the Biała Tarnów river and – Design and execution of projects stimulating the functioning of the corridor of free migration and necessary security of infrastructure at the border of this corridor. The project involves the implementation of the following two projects: — initiating processes reconstructing the corridor of free migration of the Biała Tarnów river in km from 44 + 000 to 55+ 700, including increasing the width and capacity of the riverbed, forming flood terasy and stimulating the growth of natural valley retention (the project consists of five tasks carried out in the trough and in the coastal zone of the White River in locations: Bogoniowice – Tursko, Cieżkowice, Zborowice 1, Zborowice 2 and Pławna – Municipality of Truckkowice); — initiating the processes of partial renaturisation of the Biała Tarnów river in km from 78 + 950 to 79+ 800, increasing the width, capacity and morphological diversity of the riverbed (the undertaking will be carried out in the trough and in the coastal zone of the Biała River in Kąclowa – Grybów commune).
