The objectives of the project stem from the diagnosed need to reduce emissions of pollutants including CO2 emissions and greenhouse gases in Wojkowice, Lubliniec, Myszkowa, Bytom and Dąbrowa Górnicza, but also have a significant impact on climate change – global warming, which is a global problem. The subject of the project is the construction of new units of electricity and heat generation in the technology of high-efficiency cogeneration in the towns of Wojkowice, Myszków, Lubliniec, Dąbrowa Górnicza and Bytom in the Silesian Voivodeship. Given the above and the low efficiency of the current energy boilers, it is justified to build a cogeneration block generating in combination electricity and heat. The device’s limit parameters shall be an electrical power compatible with the system’s authorised power – not more than eight devices having power: two devices of 1.2 MWe each in Wojkowice, two devices of 1.2 MWe each in Lublinc, two devices of 1.2 MWe each in Bytom, one 1.2 MWe device in Bytom and one device 1.2 MWe in Dąbrowa Górnicza as shown by the analysis of technological solutions based on dynamic unit cost.
