The objective of the project”. “Implementation of an innovative technology for the production of a legally protected invention called: The bioactive composite and the way in which the bioactive composite is produced' is an initial investment in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of the European Commission. The project is based on the purchase and commissioning of an innovative technological line [mixing module, forming module, blister module, consultancy services – commissioning of production lines] for the production of an innovative world-wide class III medical device – FlexiOss® [artificial bone, bioactive composite]. The Applicant’s Product is a groundbreaking solution in the field of modern third-generation implantation preparations in terms of, among others: 1/biocompatible bone composition, 2/bioactivity, 3/impact on bone regeneration and support for bone reconstruction; 4/surgical handiness and elasticity,5/higher rate of reproducing natural living bone tissue. The FlexiOss® church replacement biomaterial can be classified in the biotechnology sector, into the biomaterials market – narrower to the orthobiology/replacement market. The project complies with the principles of equal opportunities for men and women and non-discrimination, including those for people with disabilities, in accordance with EU horizontal policies as set out in Articles 7 and 8 of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The project will have a positive impact on the sustainable development policy referred to in Article 8 of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council. The production line for the production of an innovative FlexiOss® product will meet all the required environmental and safety standards. During the investment, environmental protection requirements (use of energy class A or higher devices), resource efficiency, adaptation to and mitigation of climate change, and risk prevention and risk management will be promoted.
