The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of adult education in the municipality of Kamień Pomorski (KP) from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship by creating three Local Knowledge and Education Centers (LOWE) in the period until 30.06.2026. The project implements type 3 of the project from the Integrated Skills Strategy 2030: support for local adult learning initiatives (on the example of LOWE). The main objective of the project stems directly from the specific objective indicated for measure 6.12 Adult education in the FEPZ 2021 – 2027 ESF+ programme, namely ES04.7 (g) – Promoting equal access to quality, inclusive education and training (...) as well as adult education and learning, including facilitating learning mobility for all and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The main objective of the project will be implemented through a diagnosis of the educational needs of adults from the city and commune of Kamień Pomorski from the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship, developed and approved by the Applicant in March 2024. Individual educational needs were diagnosed, especially those from disadvantaged groups, i.e.: low-skilled; elders; with disabilities; with low skills or basic competences and a report on the diagnosis (in accordance with the LOWE model) of the needs of the local environment in terms of educational activity and an assessment of the potential of LOWE in the commune of KP. In the diagnosis, the methodology of surveying potential participants was used. The diagnosis identified gaps in key competences in potential recipients and their individual educational needs. It also allowed to define profiles/specialization of individual LOWE created in Kamień Pomorski. SP No. 2 Im. Kap. Leonida Teligi in Kamień Pomorski 2. Maria Konopnicka SP Wrzosowo 3. According to the diagnosis, the main objective of the project is addressed to the target group, i.e. 312 adults (210K,102M) living in the Zachodniopomorskie Province (within the meaning of the provisions of the Civil Code), who have difficult access to non-formal education and learning, i.e. people living in the municipality of Kamień Pomorski, which is a municipality from the Special Inclusion Zone (SSW). The tasks in the project specified in the WOD section : Tasks, result from the main objective, are correlated with the diagnosed educational needs of the target groups and the profiles of individual LOWE. The project is planned to: Activity 1: Establishment of LOWE in SP No. 2 in Kamień Pomorski. LOWE focused on Historical and Regional Education “Our – History – Our Story” and Parent School, School of Practical Skills and Kamieńska Szkoła Biznesu Task 2: Establishment of LOWE in SP in Wrzosów. Profile LOWE School of Crafts based on local creators, village halls and circles of country housewives Task 3: Establishment of LOWE in SP in Jarszewo.
