The overall objective of the project is in line with the specific objective of LIOP 2014-2020, Priority Axis 11: Measures to improve energy efficiency and stimulate the use of renewable energy, Thematic Objective 4: Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors, Investment Priority 4b: Promoting energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in enterprises. Specific objective 11.1: Energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources for own consumption at the level of enterprises. The proposed investments will obtain energy from renewable sources that will be used for its own purpose, contributing to meeting the need for energy from conventional sources and implicitly reducing costs but also environmental protection. Moreover, through the actions carried out, namely the purchase of equipment for the production of energy from the solar source at the level of the water infrastructure, the applicant falls within the definition specific to the prosumer according to Article 3, point 95 and Article 73 of Law No 123/2012 on electricity and natural gas, as subsequently amended and supplemented: Article 73.1 – point 3, point 4 – (3) At the request of prosumers who produce electricity in electricity generation units with an installed power of up to 200 kW per place of consumption, i.e. with an installed electrical power of more than 200 kW and not more than 400 kW and with which they have concluded electricity supply contracts, electricity suppliers shall be obliged: a) to make a quantitative compensation in the prosumers' bill, i.e. to charge only the difference between the amount of energy consumed and the amount of energy produced and delivered to the grid; b) to carry over into prosumers' bills, where the amount of energy produced and delivered to the grid is greater than the amount of energy consumed, the difference between the amount delivered and the amount consumed, prosumers may use the amount of energy carried over for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of billing.
