The aim of the project is to ensure that the buildings demonstrate a positive life cycle assessment and low energy consumption by means of a high-quality building construction and reduced building technology with a high quality of stay for residents over a long lifetime. The construction project contributes to the upgrading of rural areas by creating high-quality architecture/living space. Due to the positive building physical properties of solid wood, caused by low thermal conductivity and good vapour diffusion openness, a low heating demand can be expected and the ventilation systems can be reduced. As a result, the houses are significantly superior to standard dwellings in terms of life cycle assessment and life cycle costs for a longer period of time. The multi-storey residential construction in wood construction is further developed by the model. The still very low market share of floor housing construction will gain in importance.
