The project consists of implementing actions aimed at reducing or avoiding emissions of pollutants into the air. This will be achieved by purchasing low-emission buses powered by CNG and LNG that meet the highest Euro 6 emission standards. In exchange for the new buses, old buses operated with diesel fuel that meet at most the Euro 4 emission standard will be withdrawn (buses will be replaced in a ratio of 1:1). The material scope of the project includes the purchase of 110 buses powered by CNG and LNG gas complying with the Euro 6 emission standard, including: 40 MAXI class buses powered by CNG gas and 70 MEGA class buses powered by LNG. 5 delivered in the last delivery of LNG buses, as part of the pilot project (described in more detail in Chapter 5.2. SW), the following systems will be installed: collision warning system with pedestrians or cyclists, blind spot information system, intelligent speed control assistant system. The project is under construction, deliveries of MAXI class buses powered by CNG were delivered in 2021, and deliveries of MEGA buses powered by LNG are in the process of deliveries, their planned completion is November 2023 (then the installation of systems in 5 LNG buses and their delivery will be completed). The project is planned to be completed by the end of December 2023. Thanks to the implementation of the project, it is planned to obtain the following output indicators: Number of purchased or passenger rolling stock units in public public transport – 110 pcs. Capacity of purchased passenger rolling stock in public public transport of public transport [persons] – 12350.
