In the process of implementing health priorities, the Minister of Health acts as the Intermediate Body of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme and performs the tasks of the unit coordinating the interventions of the European Structural and Investment Funds in health care. The implementation of the project is aimed at guaranteeing an adequate level of human resources enabling efficient and effective operation within the X priority axis of the Intermediate Body of the OPI & E. Ensuring and maintaining an adequate level of employment, both in terms of the number of people and the required qualifications, is essential for the smooth implementation of the tasks related to the implementation of the OPI & E under the 2014-2020 financial perspective and to prepare the implementation of the next perspective – 2021-2027. The project complies with project type No 1, as described in SZOOP for Measure 10.1 Technical Assistance: “Support the functioning of the institutions implementing the Programme and ensuring an efficient system for the implementation of the Programme”. The aim of the project is to finance the remuneration of employees of the Ministry of Health involved in the implementation of tasks related to the preparation, management, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, information and promotion of projects under the 2014-2020 OPI and subsequent financial perspectives continuing this Operational Programme, as well as staff involved in the coordination of interventions in the health sector under the 2014-2020 financial perspective and subsequent perspectives.
