STENT

The objective of STENT is to propose road crossing structures enhancing the “Gros Bois” and “Très Gros Bois” in the form of frugally shaped logs associated with a concrete compression slab to achieve an apron of 5 to 15 m of range where the vehicles circulate. Stent makes it possible to value the Big Woods and Very Big Woods which are encountering more and more difficulties to market themselves in good economic conditions. Taking these trees out of the forest allows young shoots to grow faster and to store CO2 more than mature trees. Stent also allows the elevation of pavements in sensitive areas: protection of natural soils, presence of water or flood zone, risk of landslides, etc. as well as doubling by elevation of existing pavements in “stressed” areas: engorgement, accidentology, area with visual and acoustic nuisances, creation of pedestrian cover slabs in urban areas or green cover in exceptional landscapes.... Stent can deploy throughout the territory of the Massif Central and beyond.
