Located at the Centre de Grande Terre, the Centre Médico-social (CMS) in Chiconi will cover a population pool of 43588 inhabitants (population of the Grand Terre Centre constituency). Today in Chiconi there is an old PMI. The project therefore aims to build a new CMS that will integrate in particular the health services of the existing IMP and other social services, such as autonomy, integration, support services and medical and social services in general. This organisation makes it possible to offer a local service to the population while pooling resources. Given the increase in the population mentioned above, it is important that the territorial mesh size of the PMI and CMS remains strong (ideally less than 10 km between each centre). The latest IGAS report (2014-2015) confirms these findings.
