Tourism, in Auvergne Rhône Alpes, is a major player in the economy. It accounts for 8.1 % of regional GDP. Following the transfer of this competence to the regions and EPCIs, within the framework of the Notre law, the needs and missions of the staff of the various tourist structures in the region are changing. The project proposes to train and professionalise the staff of tourism companies (mainly small and medium-sized enterprises) in the region of the Rhine to changes in their sector. This professionalisation will be carried out through awareness-raising activities in different formats (conferences, information meetings, etc.), face-to-face or remote training sessions, workshops to analyse practice, etc. The objective is to contribute to the structuring of the network of actors, meet the demand for qualified staff, create new jobs thanks to the increase in skills of staff and consequently increase the share of tourism in the regional economy.
