The project consists of the creation of an agricultural methanisation unit, in the municipality of Monchecourt. The implementation of the unit will make it possible to process organic matter in the territory and thus reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The renewable biogas produced, will be cleaned before injection on the GRDF network. The biomethane thus injected will reduce the share of natural gas of fossil origin consumed in the territory. The digestate, a residual product of methanisation, will be recovered by agricultural application and will thus allow the reduction of the use of mineral fertilisers.
