The operation involves the rehabilitation of a property in Narbonne, with a view to developing a four-star hotel and catering project. The property has a high architectural and heritage value and is located in the center of Narbonne, at the level of the Convention district. The project foresees the creation of 15 hotel rooms. The development of a restaurant offering a fusion of Argentinian and French cuisine, which has not existed in Narbonne to date, is also expected. The restaurant will not be reserved for hotel guests only but open to the outside public. The building will also have a meeting room to attract business travellers. The project provides for the creation of 20 direct jobs. A sustainable development approach has been integrated into the design of the project with, for example, energy saving measures thanks to home automation or an offer of local products offered in the restaurant. The work of the operation initially planned for early 2020 experienced many delays due to the COVID-19 health crisis and could only be launched at the end of 2020. The operation is carried out by a family business that started its tourist activity in France since 2015 and has four mid-range seasonal rental establishments in Aude.
