As part of the operation and management of the Marne water intake structure located in Saint-Dizier, the EPTB Seine Grands Lacs, operating hydraulic installations in the MARNE Lake Reservoir, wishes to renovate the embankment comb located upstream of the water intake structure in order to optimise water intakes and thus improve flood capping conditions and the protection of Saint-Dizier downstream and on the other hand to reduce the vulnerability of the containment device located upstream of the junction comb. The presence of the comb at jams upstream of the water intake is therefore essential to the proper functioning and efficiency of flood capping structures and thus to the protection of the urbanised parts of Saint-Dizier downstream. On the other hand, the configuration and frame of the jag comb, depending on the level of congestion by the clamps, can lead to a rise in the water level upstream and make the containment of the river vulnerable. It is therefore proposed to initiate a study whose content will consist of the following two steps: — Diagnosis of the existing condition of the jam comb, where appropriate the verification of the stability and strength of the structure, – Identification of renovation measures and establishment of technical requirements at the project stage (PRO).
