The residence “Les Gâteaux” which will be rehabilitated during this thermal rehabilitation project was built in the early 1960s. It has 7 buildings. These 300 social housing units at the entrance of Ville de Moulins are served by public transport and located close to many shops, facilities and services: they are highly sought after by tenant candidates but deserve an energy and aesthetic upgrade. Despite a first rehabilitation in the late 1980s, the insulation of low walls and floors is insufficient or even degraded in some cases, the ventilation is insufficient and disturbed by calibration defects, the security of the commons also deserves to be improved as well as the outdoor spaces. EVOLEA wishes to continue its programme for several years of thermal rehabilitation of its social rental heritage while improving the overall energy performance of buildings and housing with the aim of: — Significantly reduce the energy consumption of buildings – Controlling rental charges – Improving tenant comfort – Contributing to the conservation of resources and the protection of the environment.
