Safe pedestrians in Gliwice

The main objective of the project is to improve pedestrian safety in the city. This will be achieved by equipping pedestrian crossings with road safety elements and implementing an educational program, the main didactic elements of which will be simulators and a mobile road traffic town. As part of the task, it is planned to purchase 2 pcs. of a mobile bicycle town – a set of facilities designed to learn traffic regulations and practical training in the field of pedestrian traffic and, above all, to learn how to ride a bike. As part of the task, it is planned to purchase the following devices: impact simulator (1 pcs.), pedestrian crossing simulator (1 pc.), reaction time trainer (1 pc.). The above tools are necessary for more effective educational activities. The equipment, mapping the real situations encountered by pedestrians on the road, will allow for practical learning of behaviour, which will allow young people to acquire the right habits of functioning in the city among various means of transport.
