THE SYSTEM, THROUGH DECISION SUPPORT LOGICS, WILL ALLOW THE USER TO MODEL THEIR ENERGY BEHAVIOR BY ENTERING THE DATA REQUIRED BY THE INTELLIGENT PROCESSING SYSTEM THROUGH A WEB INTERFACE. THE USER WILL BE GUIDED TOWARDS A REDUCTION IN CONSUMPTION AND SPENDING, ENCOURAGING A CONSCIOUS USE OF ENERGY. THE SOFTWARE AIMS TO FACILITATE THE ENTRY OF HOME USERS INTO THE WORLD OF DEMAND RESPONSE (DR) FOR THE FLEXIBLE MANAGEMENT OF ELECTRICITY DEMAND. THE SYSTEM RECOGNISES THE USER AS AN “SMART NODE” OF THE NETWORK, ABLE TO INFLUENCE THE DYNAMICS OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AS A WHOLE AND TO RECOGNISE THE BENEFITS DERIVING FROM THE ADOPTION OF THE INSTRUMENT.
