The general objective of this project is to ensure an adequate viability status of some national roads representing high importance roads (DN1, DN10, DN13C, DN24, DN2B) through punctual construction interventions or, where appropriate, rehabilitation of bridges located on their alignment. These interventions will ensure the maintenance of adequate connectivity on the national road network in the area of incidence of investment objectives. Through the project implementation, it is intended both the modernisation/rehabilitation of existing bridges, as well as the construction of new bridges, including the infrastructure for connecting them with the existing network. The specific objectives of the project are: Building 5 new bridges, including connecting arteries to existing infrastructure and a passageway, with a total length of 5.865 km. Rehabilitation of a bridge with a length of 0.125 km. This investment objective contributes to increasing mobility and ensuring the connectivity of the region in the area of incidence of the project with neighbouring regions and will lead to the achievement of the overall objective of Priority Axis no. 2: Developing a multimodal, quality, sustainable and efficient transport system.
