The overall objective of the project is to create a software platform called AIRobot, which can be seen as part of the new wave of software platforms used in online communication. The platform, built on advanced deep learning techniques and emotion recognition, will allow you to combine the use of classic conversational interfaces (which use menu texts and graphics) with software rendering support for an intelligent assistant capable of expressing emotions and acting intelligently in the interests of users. The development of such a complex system will be achieved through the collaboration of the three ICT-centered enterprises, which will also develop three own software products based on the common AIRobot core. We aim to create our own Romanian products and move from outsourcing to innovation-based development. In Romania, the ICT sector has a great economic potential and an important contribution to the development of the Romanian economy. Investing in new technologies (Internet of Things-IoT, Artificial Intelligence), digitalisation of production processes (Automation, Robotics), innovative big data applications, e-commerce services, Cybersecurity, eGovernment or the new eHealth challenge are the main lever for convergence to Europe’s strategic targets 2020. The new technologies resulting from the innovation process provide an incentive to minimise disparities and reduce inequality from the perspective of citizens. With the right technology, the current environment can be monitored and evaluated, leading to progress in less competitive areas. The development and innovation in the field of ICT, as well as the application of the results obtained through those investments, are key factors to improve the competitiveness of our SMEs in all sectors of the economy at national level. The realisation of the project involves 2 companies in the field of ITC (SC HEAVEN SOLUTIONS 2005 SRL as applicant and SC axiologic RESEARCH SRL, as partner 1) to ensure quick and easy access to the implementation of research/development results in order to obtain an innovative product. The application is to be developed in accordance with the overall objective of Priority Axis 2 — Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for a competitive digital economy, through the involvement of the ICT sector in the development of an innovative software product, which leads to the growth of the three companies involved and generates added value for both them and the market. The development of a smart application as an innovative product to support SMEs and public authorities will contribute to increasing the company’s competitiveness in the ICT sector and implicitly will lead, at national level, to increase the contribution of the ICT sector to economic competitiveness. In this way, the overall objective of the project contributes to the achievement of
