Improving the existing infrastructure and increasing fire safety through necessary interventions — works to modernise the electrical infrastructure, ventilation and air treatment, with negative pressure, A and C Corps at Galati Pneumoftiziology Hospital, in order to increase the quality and adequacy of the care and treatment capacity of cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection management of the health crisis. Purpose of the project: Increasing the capacity to provide oxygen requirements for inpatient patients in the context of the evolution of the pandemic and associated pathology, safely in the operation of the electrical installation. Increase the capacity for the number of patients for whom oxygen therapy can be provided in the hospital. Without the intervention of LIOP, more positive COVID-19 patients (at the maximum capacity level of the salons) requiring oxygen therapy will not be able to enter the hospital, which is determined by the undersising of the electrical installation, the evolution of the pathology demonstrating that this need is actually increasingly predominant. Eliminating the risk of accidental fires due to overuse of the electrical installation, on the one hand and on the other, due to the increase in the concentration of oxgen in each salon. Creating the environment conducive to comfort and improvement of the state of health for hospitalised patients, diminishing the viral/pathological concentration very high, eliminating the risk of increasing oxygen concentration with explosion/fire risk, by ensuring ventilation and air treatment, properly. Prior to the OPIM intervention, respectively prior to the implementation of the project, Galati Pneumoftiology Hospital, partner in the project, has a reduced capacity for care and treatment of patients infected with SarsCov2 virus, and through the implementation of the project it will have an adequate care and treatment capacity of patients infected with SarsCov2 virus and will achieve the result indicator 2S132 — “Appropriate care and treatment capacity of cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection to manage the health crisis”. The proposed project contributes to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection to manage the health crisis. Before the POIM Intervention: No, after the LIOP intervention: OH, YEAH, YEAH.
