The overall objective of the project is to ensure an adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by reducing the risk of spreading SARS-COV-2 infection, at the level of the 45 state pre-university educational units in Râmnicu Vâlcea Municipality, by equipping them with protective equipment/medical devices and other equipment of this type, necessary for the proper development of the educational process for both students, teachers, non-teaching staff and auxiliary personnel in the context of the crisis created by SARS-COV-2 virus. Thus, the overall objective of the project contributes directly to the achievement of the measure provided in GEO 144 of 24 August 2020, with subsequent amendments and completions, regarding some measures for the allocation of non-reimbursable external funds necessary for the prevention of teaching activities in the context of the risk of coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2, regarding the provision of medical protection equipment such as: medical protective masks, disinfectants, suits and other equipment of this type necessary to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Also, the overall objective of the project is in line with the specific objective of the programme, which is to ensure an adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by reducing the risk of spreading SARS-COV-2 infection in the public pre-university education system, thus limiting the potential number of cases of infection that should be treated in the public health system. The project also contributes to the result indicator of the program — Adequate capacity for care and treatment of cases of SARS-COV-2 infection to manage the health crisis, by equipping the 45 state pre-university education units with medical protection equipment designed to ensure the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary for the prevention, early detection and reduction of the potential spread of SARS-COV-2 infection. The proposed indicator is qualitative: • Before the LIOP intervention: No • Subsequent to the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. The pre-university education units covered by the project have an inadequate endowment with materials and equipment for cleaning, hygiene and disinfection and protective materials for students and staff. Thus, the limited capacity of the educational units to the essential protection needs for students and staff is the basis of this project. Given the evolution of the epidemiological situation caused by the spread of the new coronavirus, it was necessary to take specific measures to counter and limit the spread of the virus and to protect the health of citizens. The risk of COVID-19 transmission in pre-university education units is considered high. Although we are facing a public health crisis, we have access to
