Endowment of the “Dumitru Tautan” Theoretical High School in Floresti Commune with protective devices and equipment to prevent the spread of infection with SARS CoV-2 virus

It will present and describe the overall objective of the project; it will also be explained how the project contributes to the result indicator of the program (appropriate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management) The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the state educational establishments to manage the pandemic situation generated by SARS-COV-2 virus in a timely and efficient manner, by equipping the pre-university education unit, THEORETIC LICE “DUMITRU TAUTAN”, FLORESTI, with protective devices and equipment necessary to prevent the spread of infection with SARS CoV-2 virus. The reopening of safe schools requires broad societal ownership and accountability for compliance with the rules imposed in the context of preventing, detecting early and reducing the potential spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection. To allow this, it is necessary to ensure that there is a well-functioning infrastructure and the necessary material resources in order to be able to apply minimum health and protection measures in state educational establishments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Floresti commune is located to the west of Cluj-Napoca, neighboring to the north with Baciu commune, to the west with Gilău commune, and to the south with the communes Săvădisla and Gilau. The commune has three localities in its administration — Floresti, Luna de Sus and Tăuti. The shape of Floresti is elongated, being placed along DN 1 towards Oradea, at a distance of only 5 kilometers from Cluj-Napoca. The commune of Floresti is a category I commune and is currently in a continuous upward development from an economic point of view. The City Hall of Floreşti is a functional structure with full activity, comprising the management of the City Hall — the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, the Secretary and the Public Administrator of the commune — and the specialised apparatus of the Mayor. The local public administration authority is represented by the Local Council, a village delegate for the village of Tăuti and the Mayor. Currently, the Local Council of Floresti consists of 19 local councillors, within it being organised the following specialised commissions: The Committee on Education, Health and Family, Work and Social Protection, Social-Cultural Activities, Cults, Child Protection, Youth and Sport Committee on Agriculture, Economic and Financial Activities, Spatial Planning and Urban Planning Legal and Disciplinary Committee The residents of the commune are consulted by referendum on issues of particular interest.
