OH, OG. Increasing the participation rate in Hunedoara County through integrated non-formal and outdoor education programs for 325 pupils, while improving the professional competences for 36 people/in the category of teaching staff from the schools where the project is implemented, by participating in certified training courses and disseminating the information acquired during the training activities. By achieving its overall objective, the project contributes to the achievement of specific objective O.S.6.3. “Reducing early school leaving through integrated measures to prevent and ensure equal opportunities for pupils belonging to vulnerable groups, with a focus on pupils belonging to the Roma minority and students from rural/socially disadvantaged communities”. The achievement of this objective is ensured by the fact that the project provides integrated non-formal and outdoor education programs in order to increase the participation of pupils in education and prevention of early school leaving for a number of 325 pupils from primary, secondary and secondary education from Hunedoara County. The project also proposes measures to support the transition into a new cycle of education, mediation and counselling for pupils from disadvantaged groups of pupils at risk of early school leaving, due to complex causes, including difficulties in adapting to the formal education system. Relevant for the way in which the project contributes to the achievement of OS6.3 is also the fact that in the target group of the project there are also 33 students belonging to the Roma ethnicity, i.e. over 10 % of the pupils and 50 pupils come from rural areas, which is more than 15 % of the number of pupils included in the target group. The two categories mentioned above are considered vulnerable groups, with pupils belonging to these communities frequently facing the phenomenon of early school leaving. In the long term, the project will generate a positive impact because by achieving its overall objective, this project will create for its beneficiaries the prerequisites for acquiring a level of education that allows them access to a qualification and implicitly to a job, thus avoiding entry into the category of people at risk of poverty. For society, this will mean less pressure on social systems and adequately prepared human resources to enable the country’s economic development. At the same time, by achieving its overall objective, the project contributes to the achievement of O.S.6.6. “Improving the skills of teaching staff in pre-university education in order to promote quality educational services geared to the needs of pupils and an inclusive school”. The project will contribute to its realisation as it provides a programme to improve the skills of the teaching staff in order to provide
