The subject of the project is the modernisation of the D1 motorway in the section Velké Meziříčí West — Velké Meziříčí East with a length of 5.900 km. The actual modernisation consists of the extension to category D 28, respectively 2 tracks with a width of 11.5 m and improvement of the construction and technical condition of the motorway. These adjustments will contribute to a substantial increase in the safety and fluidity of traffic on this heavily burdened communication, as well as to delaying normal repairs.
