The project entitled “Addition of hospitals in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship related to the prevention, counteracting and combating of COVID-19 — stage II” was prepared by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Self-Government in connection with the outbreak of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, and thus the urgent necessity to implement measures to ensure the health and safety of the inhabitants of Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship in the face of an epidemic. The project will be implemented in partnership between the self-government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship (project leader) and medical entities from Bydgoszcz, Toruń, Włocławek and Aleksandrów Kujawski (partners of the project). In total, the project will involve 5 actors as partners.The project consists of 3 core modules, developed entirely to combat the coronavirus outbreak and its effects. These modules within the project include:- Module I — purchase of medical equipment and equipment for 4 medical entities that are partners in this project,- Module II — purchase of other medical and non-medical equipment for 4 medical entities that are partners in this project necessary for the implementation of medical services provided in connection with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the coronavirus- Module III — modernisation and reconstruction of hospitals for the provision of medical services, i.e. The total cost of project activities and indirect costs is PLN 34 006 334.36 gross, including VAT of PLN 3 442 414.63, which is a fully eligible cost. The expected co-financing in the project is 100 % of the eligible costs, including 90 % from the ERDF and 10 % from the State Budget. The project is implemented between February 2020 and June 2021.
