The subject of the project is to diversify the company’s activities by introducing new products not previously produced in the plant — wet wipes with antimicrobial properties (specified biocidal activity). The project also involves a change in the production process. An investment is a new investment in property, plant and equipment. The project will be located in Janków, in Drawsko Pomorskie Municipality. The production and warehouse areas and buildings owned by Abek are a post-industrial area (former PGR farm). The project will include the acquisition of two automated technological lines for the production of wet wipes adapted to the applicant’s specifications and equipped with stacking equipment and parcel labelling. In addition, the entrepreneur intends to implement measures, beyond those already in operation, to adapt the company to effectively counteract the negative effects of the COVID-19 outbreak. The project is planned in two stages: Stage I. Acquisition of fully automated technological lines for the production and packaging of wet wipes, Stage II. Adapting the company to effectively counter the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak. The start and completion of the project is planned for 2021. The applicant has carried out a procedure for selecting suppliers of technological lines and is fully ready to implement the project. After the implementation of the investment, the infrastructure will be ready to use its full functionality. The company has technical, human resources and knowledge to guarantee the correct implementation of the project and the achievement of the objectives and results planned in the project.
