The project “Pomeranian with Ukraine” will be implemented from 01.09.2022 to 30.09.2023.The aim of the project is to support Ukrainian citizens who are on the territory of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in connection with the war in Ukraine, as well as to permanently strengthen their social, professional, educational, health and cultural attitudes.The activities undertaken under the project will focus on the social integration of immigrants into the local community — it is of utmost importance to create appropriate conditions for building a common space that will enable immigrants to establish contacts and build ties with the local community, as well as to provide interventions related to comprehensive social and professional integration. In addition, it will also be possible to implement initiatives related to, among others, support of a living, caring nature, professional and language courses, translation, professional counselling and legal and psychological assistance. In addition, training activities aimed at employees and volunteers of public institutions and non-governmental organisations PES/PS are also foreseen to support people with experience of migration.The effect of the project will be to support a total of 1640 people with experience of migration during the project implementation period, who have come to Poland since 24.02.2022 in connection with hostilities in Ukraine and 50 employees and volunteers of public institutions and NGOs/PES/social enterprises providing support to people with experience of migration.
