The project assumes the replacement of non-organic heat sources fired with solid fuel class 3 or 4 according to PN-EN 303-5:2012 and non-class heating, single-family buildings located in the city of Gliwice, for ecological heating devices. In order to implement the project, specific grants will be awarded to its participants in the form of reimbursements. The project also includes: selection of the operator coordinating and supporting the implementation of the project on behalf of the City, coordination of the project on the side of the Municipal Office in Gliwice and promotion of the project. As a result of the project, air quality will be improved not only in Gliwice, but also in neighbouring districts by reducing pollution, including CO2 and PM10, and improving the health of residents. Only buildings that meet the definition of the minimum energy efficiency standard as of the date of signature of the special-purpose grant agreement will be covered by the project.
