The aim of the project is to strengthen employment opportunities on the labour market of a group of 40 inhabitants of the Elbląg subregion, whose care for children up to 3 years makes it impossible to take up work (they are currently unemployed or on parental leave). The project provides for the reimbursement of 80 % of the costs of using external childcare to all participants (in the nursery, children’s club, day caregiver or nanny), for a period of up to 12 months and until the child reaches the age of 3 years. In doing so, ensuring that parents are relieved of the burden of personal care of their offspring, will enable them to unleash their potential and to return to work more quickly or to take measures to find or maintain them. In addition, all participants will receive activation support (from career guidance, through courses and/or traineeships, to placement), which will facilitate their entry into the labour market. Recruitment of participants will take place as part of closed calls, from September 2022, until the financial resources are exhausted. It is assumed that at least 24 participants will find a job or will actively seek it after participation in the project. The project will be completed in November 2023.
