CONSTRUCTION OF INTEGRATED MULTIMODAL HUBS WITH CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF RAILWAY STOPS IN THE ŁÓDZKIE VOIVODESHIP

The direct objective of the project “Construction of integrated multimodal hubs with the construction and reconstruction of railway stops in the Lodz Voivodeship” is to increase the availability of rail transport in the Lodz Voivodeship, to adapt the distribution of passenger service facilities to the needs of residents, and to increase the competitiveness and use of rail transport in relation to the road by extending/construction of 4 multimodal hubs integrating different modes of transport. Works related to the project will take place within the railway stations Głowno, Stryków, Zduńska Wola and in Pabianice, at the railway crossing along the national road 71, where the passenger stop Pabianice Północ (working name) is designed and will include: extension of integrated transport hubs on railway line No. 15 Bednary-Łódź Kaliska in Głowno and Stryków extension of the integrated transport hub on railway line no. 14 Łódź Kaliska-Tuplice, including reconstruction, railway station building in Zduńska Wola, construction of the integrated transport hub Pabianice Północ on railway line no 14 Łódź Kaliska-Tuplice. As part of the project, the doc. proj. and construction works will be carried out. and liquidation of collisions with existing technical infrastructure resulting from the work carried out. Supervision of construction works will be led by a contract engineer. Information and promotion activities will be carried out indicating the implementation of the project from EU funds. The project has a point-based character, the biggest impact will be on residents from the immediate vicinity of stops or population using services located nearby, as a target group. As part of the project, platforms will be built, parking spaces for themselves. 5,0x3.6m adapted for disabled persons and suitably marked, pavements and ramps leading to platforms, bicycle sheds, rail-level crossings, footbridges equipped with stairs and lifts for disabled/restricted mobility
