The main objective of the project, consisting of the construction of a photovoltaic farm in Kokoszczyn in the commune of Tarnowo Podgórne, is to increase the production of electricity from renewable energy sources. The implementation of the project will contribute to the generation and distribution of electricity from solar energy in the amount of around 9 000 MWh/year, in place of the previously used hard coal, which will lead to a reduction in the amount of coal currently consumed, and thus a reduction in CO2 and PM10 emissions.
