The subject of the Project is the securing and modernisation of 95 level crossings with automatic electronic signalling and safety devices that use modern devices with light signals in LED technology and strong-sonic bells to ensure safe operation, while at 79 level crossings, the installation of semi-defenders is foreseen. The objectives of the Project are to reduce the risks arising from the intersection of two separate transport systems (trade and roads), to increase the level of insurance of the ŽCP, to reduce the number of traffic accidents and to reduce the number of human casualties and to reduce the costs caused by traffic accidents.
