The purpose of the investment is to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 infections and other calls to patients of the Urgent Block, to prevent related health complications and poorer treatment outcomes, and to limit to a minimum the disruption in the activities and operations of UKC Ljubljana caused by the occurrence of communicable diseases. Furthermore, the purpose of the investment is to enable the improvement of the conditions for the operation of certain special laboratories of the clinical internal organisational units of the UKC Ljubljana, thereby reducing their current spatial deficit.The main objective of the investment is to improve the conditions for the implementation of quality medical treatment in the Urgent Block, other internal organisational units and the entire UKC Ljubljana. The shortest objectives of the investment are the emergency block and other included units of UKC Ljubljana: • ensure adequate sized and functional, health-safe premises and equipment for their health activity • further improve the conditions for safe and successful medical treatment of patients, health and safety
